This small jar has an upright neck with the apex of the mouth turned outward in a rounded shape, and the shoulders are bent into a ridge, leading to a swollen body. The clay base is iron-rich, a characteristic of Tokoname, and the dark green natural glaze on the shoulders is also similar to that found in Tokoname. If this is the case, then this type of mouth-built jar is also a type of jar.
