The Museum of the Archaeological Institute of Kashihara, Nara Prefecture
This is a typical high cup-shaped stand with four-tiered chidori sukashi (openwork) dating from the first half of the 6th century, and unusually, it contains a jar with a lid and a small handle. The lid of the jar is lost and does not exist. Four small jars are attached to the shoulders as decoration. Both the jar and the base are slightly sandy, and the firing temperature is not very high, giving the piece a grayish color.
