This is also a single-sided Irabō, with the rainbow inscription applied by using the brushstroke from one side of the design. The cut-away rim, fine lines on the body, and bamboo-jointed foot are all similar, and the layering of the glaze creates a beautiful pattern both inside and out. The foot is large and sturdy, the rim is thick and solid, and the glaze is also superb. This is another masterpiece in terms of both craftsmanship and design.
