This ash-glazed flat vase from the late 8th to early 9th century is characterized by its extremely small base in relation to the diameter of the body. Another characteristic is that the body height became slightly higher and the upper surface is bulging. Around this time, the bottom of these vases began to have a base.
The handle on the upper surface of the body is flattened by shaving.
