In the latter half of the 8th century, the body of flat vases became significantly flattened, and handles were attached to the upper surface of the body. Judging from the clay and glaze tone, this vase was produced at Sanage kiln in Aichi Prefecture. The flattened body has a slightly high handle with a slightly curved edge. The top of the body and the handle are glazed with ash, giving it a yellowish green color.
