This inkstone is an extremely unique type of Sue ware inkstone in terms of form. The rectangular plane is covered on three sides with a border strip, and a key-shaped border strip is placed at the border between the land and the sea. The sea portion is extremely wide. The meaning of the circular depression in the right corner is not clear. There are four low circular feet on the reverse side.
