Tea Scoop
The scoop body is slender, with a waist so high it is barely noticeable. A depression is visible just below the middle joint.
Below the joint, the bark is stripped, revealing the shaved edge, with a slight thickness near the cut-off point.
Case
A famously unusual case for Fushiin’s double-mouthed tea scoop, bottomless with openings at both ends, bearing the “maru ni e” (circle with a yin-yang symbol) seal on each opening. The case has ice cracks, with cherry bark wrapped around the upper part, giving it an old, rustic charm.
