Sakuma Shōkan Tea Scoop and Case, Sashō

Tea Scoop
The notch is positioned slightly lower, and the view of the groove inside is splendid.

Case
Though not as fine a bamboo as the character “Shō,” the inscription is unique. Both the “〆” in ‘〆さ将’ and the character “将” are exceptionally cursive, inviting a tea-like flavor.
