Although similar in shape to the previous illustration, this piece features a vivid Kinrande finish. The entire exterior is painted in a red ground, though the application is slightly uneven; on top of this, intricate patterns of peonies and insects are painted in gold paint. The mark “Kawabami Shiryū” is stamped at the base of the body and framed with blue-and-white porcelain decoration, with the mark itself left unpainted. The lid of the accompanying box is inscribed with “Kinrande Sake Bottle.”
