Iro glaze (colored glaze)

A glaze in which a coloring agent is mixed. It is prepared in the same way as an ordinary glaze, with the only difference being that the coloring agent is mixed in. However, depending on the type of colorant used, it must always contain some alkali, boric acid, or lead compound. Colorants are limited to metal compounds. The following are examples of several of these types.
Yellow: ferruginous stone, titanium oxide, uranium oxide (酸化焰).
Red → gold compounds. Cinnabar: Copper compounds. Ishitake color → tin-chromium compounds. Rat color → Iridium oxide, platinum compounds, nickel oxide, uranium oxide, etc. Indigo → cobalt oxide. Green → chromium oxide. Purple → Gold compounds. Celadon yellow → iron oxide, chromium oxide
In case of low heat like ceramic glaze firing] Yellow → Antimony oxide, lead chromate, iron oxide. Red → Iron oxide. Red → gold compounds. Ishitake → Compound of tin and chromium. Rat color → Compound of uranium oxide, cobalt oxide and iron oxide.
