Wien Porcelain

The second largest porcelain factory in Europe, it was built in 1716 in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The technology was introduced from Meissen in Germany, and the quality of Viennese porcelain was good from the start, partly due to the arrival of Meissen’s chief of staff during the Begger era. Therefore, its products are also in the Meissen style. At the end of the eighteenth century, the company also produced products influenced by English Wedgwood (Savage,Savage,Savage,Wedgwood,Savage,Savage,Savage).
(Savage, G. “Porcelain” Weis, G. “Ullstein Porzellbuch”)
