A deity that existed in Chiawu prefecture in ancient times. According to the article on pottery in the Yamato Jihi, “Pottery has existed since the time of the gods, and there was a deity named Ootogigi in Chiyanu prefecture at the time of Omoku-no-Mikoto. This is believed to be the same deity as Tojimimi found in the Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan, vol. 5).
