Oshima katatsuki
Oshima katatsuki

A specialty. An old Seto kagatatsuki tea caddy. The origin of the name is not clear. The shape is large but not obtrusive, and it is an excellent example that gives the impression of richness and completeness. It was later owned by Todo Takatsugu, and in 1703, his son Takamitsu presented it to the Tokugawa shogunate as a gift for his successor’s successor.
