Gappo
Gappo

Specialty. Korean tea bowl with brush marks. The white brush glaze is beautiful like a pearl, and it is thought that it is named after Happo (Happo), the name of the region where it was produced. It is regarded as a small to medium-sized tea bowl with a brushed finish. Formerly owned by Roka Hirase, it entered the Tomita family in Nagoya in 1903 (Meiji 36).
