The short, slightly outward-pointing neck is rounded at the apex. Two annular vertical ears are attached to the shoulders of the spherical body, both of which are now missing. The slightly coarse-textured surface of the vessel has a shiny black color.
The shoulder is covered with a dark green natural glaze, which has almost completely peeled away to reveal a grayish-white color. The base is large, and the top of the vessel indicates that it dates to the 15th century.
