There are some Korean tea bowls with poorly designed Tachizuru (standing crane) patterns, but most of them are inlaid patterns. Some Gohon teacups with pictures of tachitsuru still remain as masterpieces. According to a legend from Tsushima, the third Shogun Iemitsu himself drew a picture of a standing crane and gave a design for a tea bowl, and ordered Joseon to bake it (Gohon-chawan).
