Chukoh specialty. Kuniyaki tea caddy, Ibe ware. It is inscribed by Kobori Enshu, but its exact origin is unknown. The Enoki clay of Ibe clay has a reddish tinge on the surface. The glaze is sticky and bluish-white in places, and the lower edge of the glaze has a high pool of glaze. At first glance, this piece looks like a boxwood. It was originally owned by Hatajonin, and passed through Hosokawa Echu-no-Mori, Matsudaira Sakon Shogun Norimup, Hori Sagamimori, Otsu Motoki, and others before entering Matsudaira Fumai, and was handed down to the Matsudaira family in Unshu since then. (Meibutsu Ki, Kokin Meibutsu Ruiju, Rimpo Kameryu, Taisho Meikikan, etc.)
