When glazes with different rates of expansion are applied to the base material, a crack is always produced on the glazed surface after firing, regardless of whether the ware is white porcelain or colored porcelain. Glazes with such gaps are collectively called glazes. In Japan, there are Satsuma ware and Awata ware.
