A great masterpiece. A Chinese-style Bunrin tea caddy. The name was derived from the similarity of the glaze and the shape of the bowl to that of an acidic plaster bowl. The overall appearance is that of a black ame glaze mixed with a persimmon color, especially on the tips of the shoulders.
The black ame glaze has a golden persimmon color and the vertical lines are fine. This tea caddy has a beautiful glossy glaze, is extremely light to handle, and the white clay is sticky, making it a noble tea caddy.
(Since then, it has been the first heirloom of the Himeji Sakai family.)
