The ones from Haniuda in Kawachi Province (Haniwno, Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture) and Yanagawa in Chikuzen Province (Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture) are called haniuda gunranku, and are prized as tea utensils. It is also called an earthenware pot, and is used in the chanoyu ceremony to fill the charcoal pot with ashes from the furnace or windmill, and is carried out with an ash ladle and other accessories.
