 This jar has the same shape as the o-haguro jar shown in Figure 55. The clay is slightly coarse and pebbly. The lower half of the body is brownish brown and the upper half black, with natural glaze on the mouth rim and half of the shoulder. There is a kiln mark on the shoulder.
