This is the only known Echizen ceramic water jar from the Middle Ages. It was made with a rather thick neck with the tip slightly turned outward, and the spout was attached to the border between the shoulder and body of a flat body with a strong shoulder. It is made of rolled up Yamado-style cord and has many oshikane stamped on the shoulders in a disorderly manner.
