Height 23.3 cm, mouth diameter 14.5 cm, body diameter 22.2 cm, bottom diameter 15.4 cm
This is a wide-mouthed jar with a rounded mouth. The clay contains fine feldspar particles and is of the same quality as other Iga jars. It is molded with rolled-up corded clay, and the inner surface is lined with finger pressure marks along the joints. The surface of the vessel has been sommered and brush-worked. There is a seat-shaped indentation on the underside. There is a painted sun inscription on the shoulder. The meaning of this inscription is unclear, but considering the size, it cannot be a simple kiln mark.
