　The short neck is folded back to form a rounded rim. The body is spherical and belongs to the same jar type as the small jar shown in Figure 69. The clay is fine-grained feldspar with a low iron content and is well tempered, giving it a brownish-brown color. The natural glaze that covers the rim of the mouth and the shoulder of the vessel is white and shows the coloring that is typical of Iga vases. There are ten large line engravings on the body.
