This is a short-necked jar with almost horizontal shoulders and a low foot, excavated together with a two-color vase and other vessels. This is a rare example of a fully black earthenware vessel that shows a point in time when it was used. The surface of the vessel was polished with a lime polish, and it is one of the best examples of black earthenware with a jet-black luster.
