Tokyo National Museum
This is a tea bowl with a strong high and low rim, the mouth is held inward, the middle of the body is tight, and the waist is clearly curved. The side of the base is gently undulating, and the base is rather small. The inside of the stand is flat and the width of the helmet is not attached. The glaze applied to the entire body is smoothly melted, but it is not jet-black but rather brownish. There are some trace marks on the inside and outside of the lower part of the mouth. On the back of the lid of the inner box, Sotan wrote “Nunji (Hanashii)” in a very tasteful manner. It was donated to the Tokyo National Museum by Matsunaga Yasuzaemon.
