Height 8.2 cm, mouth diameter 9.6 cm, base diameter 5.4 cm.
The rim of the mouth is gently undulating and is also held inward. The body rises slightly and is slightly tightened at the center of the body, and the waist is clearly curved. The height of the body is slightly high, and the tatami mat is flat. The inside of the stand is flat and there is no width to the helmet. The kase-glaze applied to the entire body has a rough surface. Half of the inner box is missing, and the inscription “Choujirou-yaki Tea Bowl” by Soatsu remains on the remaining part. Originally, the inscription may have read “tea bowl,” but it seems that later generations misread “tea” as “grass” and added the character for “hermitage” to make the inscription “Soan” (hermitage).
