Shino square bowl with Kirin (chimera) design

Height 6.6 cm, mouth diameter 22.3 cm, bottom diameter 19.0 cm
A flat bowl with corners cut on all four sides, with a rounded waist and a flat bottom. The side of the bowl is decorated with a house and figures on a bush fence, and the other two sides are decorated with trees. However, we have seen one other chrysanthemum-shaped dish with a kylin design that appears to be by the same artist. The white glaze, which is thinly applied over the entire surface, has a faint reddish tinge.
