 This is a typical example of this type of Kizeto pot, which once belonged to the Fujita family. The soft glazed surface is dotted with several spots of chalcanthite. The shape is that of a bowl with a rounded rim and a rounded base, and the center of the base is shallowly chiseled in a go-zukuri style. Most Kizeto wares have a go-zoko type bottom and the center of the bottom is shallowly chipped, but some have a low glazed base. And . Some have the gallstone intentionally placed only on the top of the design, while others have it dotted in spots in a seemingly random manner.
