Large bowl with handles with mountain design, E-garatsu type

Height 13.2 cm, mouth diameter 26.5 cm, left and right sides 30.7 cm, high base diameter 9.8 cm
This is a large and splendid large deep bowl. The mouth is sharply curved at the edges, with thick, careless hands on either side of the body, and the small base is carved out in a straightforward manner, making it slightly thicker overall. The mouth is decorated with spotted motifs, and the prospective owner has painted grass in a circular window. One side of the body is decorated with mountains and grass above and below, while the other side has five grass plants in a horizontal line and eight birds above. The entire surface, except for the base, is covered with a thick feldspar glaze, giving the ware a soft, zanguri-style appearance. It was probably fired in a Fujino Kawauchi type kiln, but it is not clear. This is another excellent example of Ekaratsu ware that is unparalleled.
