This is a particularly vivid suisashi with a kiln-turned scene. It has ears on either side of the shoulder and a shallow line in the shape of a cord running down the center of the body. Kiln marks are engraved on the bottom and under the shoulder.
The above four water jars are probably representative of seed jar water jars, but since this type of seed jar water jar has been handed down in great numbers, it is likely that these water jars were made from small and large jars that originated as miscellaneous vessels, and were small in size and beautiful in appearance.
