Height 27.7 cm, mouth diameter 9.1-9.7 cm, body diameter 13.6 cm, bottom diameter 12.3 x 13.0 cm.
The neck rises almost in a straight line, while the body swells slowly and is stretched at the base, and the left and right sides of the neck have ears like folded nails. It is slightly thickly molded, and the front is covered with a beadlo glaze, one of the most brilliant among Iga ware vases. The front and back are concave, and the bottom is strongly spatula-engraved and stepped. The back is reddish brown, with three streams of natural yuzu (citron) on the shoulders and two streams of iron glaze running from the square to the body. There are traces of a hole on the back of the bowl that has been filled in. This vase is one of the five masterpiece vases called “Higashi Gonin Otoko” owned by a sukiya in Tokyo.
