This is the most typical example of a new cup used from the middle of the 7th century to the first half of the 10th century. The lid is flattened in the center of the upper surface by grinding and has a flattened knob with a pearl-shaped knob. The ware is well finished, but the iron in the base has given it a brownish-brown fire color due to firing similar to that of oxidized iron.
