This bowl is one of the most impressive examples of the Aote Koya Koya style, in which a large pine tree is strongly painted over a wide field. It is a large flat bowl with a tiered rim. The pine tree trunks are dark blue, the rocks are green, and the rim is decorated with an overglaze green glaze in the Aomiha wave style.
The reverse side is painted with chrysanthemum arabesque patterns in black lines on the entire surface, overlaid with a thin layer of yellow glaze. There is an inscription of the character “Fuku” within the double horns in the high stand.
