The composition is similar to the previous painting, but the window pattern is irregularly framed in yellow on the prospective viewer’s face, and the ground is finely detailed with fine patterns. The central window of the kakusama depicts a man of letters and a young child holding a zither, while the surrounding windows depict flowers and birds in different styles. On the reverse side, a peony arabesque design with flowers on five sides is depicted, with the flowers painted in purple and the stems in green. An illegible square inscription is written in the center of the stand, and the top is covered with green color.
