This teacup has a unique and cute design, with flowers of the four seasons finely cut out on the outside and delicately colored in red, yellow, purple and green on top of the cut-out patterns. The lid of the box it came in is inscribed “Kouchi-sha”, but it is more likely that this was a unique creation by Mokume rather than a Kouchi-sha piece. The foot ring is engraved with his pseudonyms, including “Koki Kansai”, “Hyakuro Sanjin Ryoubei Zou”, “Ryoubei Zou” and “Zou”, which he used.
