Four lid cups are supported by a large pedestal. It should be noted that the shape of the pedestal differs from that of a ko-mochi cup. The pedestals are slightly widened at the bottom, and three tiers of four, two, and four triangular watermarks are placed on the pedestals. The lid cup is a typical early 6th century cup with flattened knob and stepped shoulders. It is grayish-white in color due to the low firing temperature and is not fully tempered.
