This is a small, cylindrical tea bowl with an outward-curving rim, modeled after the so-called “Gohon-tachitsuru” tea bowl. The body is covered with a soft glaze featuring coarse craquelure, while the footring is left unglazed, revealing the rich, clay-like texture of the red clay. A standing crane is depicted in dark blue on one side of the body, and the “Eiraku” mark is stamped on the unglazed portion beside the footring. The lid of the accompanying box is inscribed with “Standing Crane Tea Bowl” on the front and “Inbo Zenzo” on the back.
