Kujijinin

Specialty. Raku ware, black, handmade by Hara Saso. The inscription on the box reads, “This is an inscription of a kyogen (a rite of passage) by a person who is guilty of a crime, and it refers to the Gion Shinto ritual and the Yamahoko float. The overall body is pure black and sturdy. The spatula is interestingly made, and is said to be a tea bowl that well expresses the spirit of Haraso. It was handed down to the Dobashi family in Kyoto.
