This long-bodied jar with a short, outer neck was made of rolled clay, and the vessel surface was smoothed out by scraping. The surface of the jar is smooth and smooth. The ware is extremely solid, with a brownish-brown surface with few feldspar pellets and many black iron particles. The half-surface from the shoulder to the body is covered with a dark green natural glaze. This jar has a neat shape, which is rare for Shigaraki ware.
