15th century
Height 49.0 cm, mouth diameter 12.8 cm, body diameter 39.5 cm, bottom diameter 15.3 cm
This large jar has a flat rim at the tip of the mouth and neck, which stands upright on the outside. The body shape retains the form of an arithmetic bowl, but the shoulders are quite rounded, suggesting that it was made in the 15th century. The body is formed in six steps by winding up the corded clay. The body is formed in a six-tiered joint with a corded clay roll-up technique. The pottery is well finished, with a yellowish green sesame sprinkled natural glaze on the light red shoulder.
