 This is a large jar with a rounded body and a convex lip similar to the former, but with a slightly sloping shoulder, and is thought to have been made in the early Muromachi period. It is thought to have been made in the early Muromachi period. The molding is of rolled clay, and the surface of the vessel has a smooth surface due to the polishing process with a sanding technique. The finish is extremely fine, with some of the dark green natural glaze on the shoulder running down to the lower half of the body. The body is marked with a “Yonpainting” mark X.
