This is also a mizusashi with an arrowhead spout, and the body is decorated with an ashi pattern painted in a spacious brushstroke. The reddish tint around the base is well expressed, and the stately appearance is comparable to that of the Hatakeyama Memorial Museum of Fine Arts’ works. However, the Shino glaze applied to the entire piece lacks a reddish hue, perhaps because the glaze was too thick, and it is regrettable that some of the glaze has been severely burnt off. There are traces of thread cutting on the bottom.
