Height 18.7 cm, mouth diameter 18.1 cm, bottom diameter 19.0 cm
This water jar shows characters such as “Iroha” and has a hinokigaki pattern on the mouth rim. As with the Neri Shino Shufu-moji suisashi, the body stands up easily, but it was probably made smooth like this from the beginning in order to include the characters. The bottom is a flat itokiri. Toyozo Arakawa speculates that it was fired at the Yuiemon kiln in Ohira. It was probably made in the same period as the Neri Shino Shufu-moji water jar.
