Height 8.3cm, mouth diameter 10.6cm, base diameter 6.7cm
This is a semi-tubular tea bowl with a low base and the mouth slightly turned inward, similar in form to a Raku ware tea bowl. It is a beautiful tea bowl with a bluish ash glaze on the outer two parts and a reddish-white clay surface. There are three marks on the surface. It is thought to be made in the early Edo period, but since this kind of tea bowl has been produced in Shigaraki for quite a long time, it is difficult to determine the date of production.
