This bowl is decorated with an Araiso motif, or carp jumping over the waves, in underglaze blue inside the prospective circular window.
The inside of the bowl is decorated with an eight-way split design in the same style as the outside of the bowl shown in Figure 30, but instead of a red ground, it is painted with arabesque flowers in light red and gold on a moe yellow ground.
This is clearly modeled after the color scheme of the moegi kinranko.
On the outside, a chrysanthemum design is arranged on one side and a flower design in the shape of a ruyigashira is arranged on the other side, and they are connected by arabesques.
It is the best example of the Ko-Imari type, and is estimated to have been made in the Jiroku period (1688-1704).
A double circle is shown in the base in underglaze blue, and there is one mark in the center.
