Height 20.8cm, mouth diameter 5.6cm, body diameter 11.2cm, bottom diameter 6.5cm
This type of Tokutari with a simple vine and grass design on the body was widely produced in the early period of Imari Sometsuke in the early Imari period. The shape of this type of Tokutari clearly follows that of Tokutari ware made in Karatsu from the Bunroku and Keicho periods, with a strong mouth and a taut body being preferred. It is said to have been excavated from the Kamishirakawa Tengu Valley kiln. Fragments of the same type have also been excavated from kiln sites.
