This water jar, generally known as a kenti, was mass-produced by order of the Dutch East India Company and is estimated to have been made in the 1680s. In addition to the underglaze blue and white porcelain, many of them were also produced in color. The silver fittings on the mouth and spout were probably made in Holland. The date is not marked.
