Height 9.9 cm, mouth diameter 33.5 cm, base diameter 14.9 cm
This is a rather deep circular dish with a shallow depression in the center.
The glazed surface has fine iron powder as if sprinkled with black sesame seeds. This is considered to be an early example of an early Ko-Kutani style large dish. The circular shape is filled with a black line drawing of a tiger on a bamboo, overlaid with three colors of green, yellow, and purple, a design common to early Imari Sometsuke. The inside and outside near the mouth rim are decorated with circles in underglaze blue, and on the outside, flying cloud patterns are painted in red overglaze enamels on three sides.
