 This simple sake bottle has a protruding spout with a bow-shaped hand showing a metal washer at the base. The mouth is wide, and the lid is designed to be dropped over. The body is decorated with chrysanthemums, bamboos, and bellflowers in dark overglaze enamels, and the lid is decorated with arabesque patterns in a lively style. No other sake bottle choshi of this shape has been produced. It has a wide, low base.
